Media personality Toke Makinwa who had put the storm she has been trough
in life especially her broken marriage might be facing law suits from
people she dropped their names in her book On Becoming.
Makinwa was a guest of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on his programme Rubbin Minds on Sunday, December 11, 2016. In the cause of the programme Ebuka asked her if she is not afraid of lawsuits from people she dropped their names in her book. But the new author seems to be undeterred by this as she claimed that she is only telling her story her own way and that everyone who has being mentioned in the book also have a right to tell their own story too.

She claimed that the urge to write the book came
from the fact that a lot of things have been written about her and she
needs to put the record straight. In the interview she spoke about her father’s unfulfilled dreams and why she was silent on her adopted parents in the book.
Makinwa really dropped Maje and his girlfriend turned baby mama Anita a couple of times in the book.
